The Grid Settings command can be accessed through the View menu. Use this command to show the grid, snap walls to the grid, snap surfaces to grid and snap lines through grid using this command.
To Define Grid Settings:

2. | The Grid Settings pop-up will be displayed. |

• | Show Grid checkbox – When selected, the grid is displayed in your work area. Leave the checkbox blank to hide the grid. |
• | Snap walls to grid checkbox – When selected, walls will snap to the 1’ grid (.3m if you are working in metric units) when you move wall segments and points. |
• | Snap surfaces to grid checkbox – When selected, surfaces will snap to the 1’ grid (.3m if you are working in metric units) when you move surface segments and points. |
• | Snap lines to grid checkbox – When selected, lines will snap to the 1’ grid (.3m if you are working in metric units) when you move line segments and points. |
3. Close the Text Defaults window by clicking on the symbol in the top right corner of the window.
4. The settings you selected will be applied to the text that you add to your plan.
