The Move Forward command steps the layering position of a symbol forward. The Bring to front and Send to back commands are generally more effective, but there are situations where you want to change the specific layering of symbols. Because each symbol is set to a unique layer, you may need to repeat this command multiple times before you see a change.
To move an object forward:
| 1. | Using the selection tool, select the object that you want to move forward. |
| 2. | Select Edit from the menu bar and then select Move Forward from the Edit menu. You can also access this command by pressing Ctrl+Up keys on your keyboard. |
| 3. | The selected object will be moved one level forward in the layering of symbols. |
